Classical Glass Car Show 7/28
Quite a few Corvette Indy members participated in the always popular Indy Classical Glass car show. This year the show moved to the parking lot of the former Marsh store at 116th and Keystone. The weather was perfect, and the turnout was very strong. John Rash had his ‘new’ 1960 Corvette on display, having just completed a major suspension upgrade. Gone is to former solid axle rear suspension, having been replaced with late model technology front and back. Also new to the car is power steering. John says it now drives like a dream, and will make touring much more enjoyable. Although not participating in the show, a late model McLaren 570s attracted a lot of attention. It was a great day for a car show. Thanks to Jim Alvis for the pictures and write up, while Bill Reynolds sent in a picture of the club's winners to complete the successful day.
