Michiana CC Rallies 10/11

On Sunday October 11 the Michiana Corvette Club again held three rallies - 1 fun & 2 poker - starting from Tire Rack in South Bend. With a beautiful fall day in store, 10 Corvettes and 1 metal car headed out to wind their way around the back roads of St. Joe and nearby counties. Those attending from Corvette Indy were Butch & Tammy, Jim & Pam, and Bill & Erika. Bill & Erika joined Jim & Pam for the trip up, even making a side trip into Kokomo for gas but still make it there before 11 where they met Butch & Tammy who had headed to Michigan the night before to stay at their cottage. The scenic route was similar to the previous year's, but with all new questions to challenge the competitors. The end point was again David Godfrey's house where his sister and mom had prepared a great cookout and chili for the hungry participants. Butch & Tammy were podium finishers in both poker runs and therefore got the miniature Corvettes that were later traded among the 'boys'. A fun day for those attended enjoying the fall weather.
