2014 Brownsburg American Legion Car Show
On September 21 the usual die-hard car show enthusiasts Jeff B & Charity N, Randy & Sherri S met at the Chris's house for a very filling breakfast before heading out to the American Legion in Brownsburg. The group did the detailing and sat back and enjoyed the warm sun with an occasional gust of wind. As the hours went by the group could hear their stomachs growling so it was time to grab some tenderloin that was a little chewy. The wind started to pick up and blow some leaves into the recently detailed cars but the group got them out before the judges noticed. The show was "supposed to be" judged by cleanliness. At 3 p.m. the awards were supposed to start but was delayed for unknown reasons as everyone seemed to get restless. After what seemed like an eternity the awards were finally presented with Jeff B & Randy S winning a Top 25 trophy. Have to say that last year's show was much better organized than this years. The judging was done by 3 people with 2 of them being somewhat young kids in there early 20's. The results seemed to baffle a majority of the crowd with a Scion winning 3 awards to include Best of Show. I was extremely disappointed in how the show was run and will probably not do the show next year.
