Parky's Smokehouse

On Friday, November 2, a bright sunny day the Retiree's & Hookey Players (with a couple of actual Hookdy Players) met at Bill & Erika's to head to Lebanon to get some BBQ at Parky's Smokehouse. Those able to make the drive were hosts Bill & Erika, Dean & Zoe, Greg & Donna, Pat & Carolyn, Dick & Bonnie, Bob & Barbara, Jim, and Jack for a total of 7 Corvettes and one metal car. The group wound their way from Carmel up to Sheridan and across SR47 to Elizaville Road for a senic and curvey trip to our destination. It was decided that the drive in the fall was even better as the crops were out and line of sights were greatly improved, with less chance of encountering deer or other obsticales. Once there everyone had great lunches and a good time talking about cars and other subjects. At around four everyone headed back home hoping that next week the weather would hold for another drive.
