C6 Exhaust Replacement
Exhausted!
Donna had one complaint with Greg's newly purchased 2010 Vette, "it's too quiet!" Wow, is she a good wife or what? Greg always eager to please his lady got busy and purchased a Corsa Sport Exhaust System to fix that problem. After first making sure the system was all there and was the correct one for his Vette, Greg put the car on the lift and removed the stock mufflers, pipes and "H" pipe. At this point he had reached the point of no return! Not wanting to miss an opportunity to clean with a lot of the parts out of the way, out came the rags and detail spray. After a little sprucing up on some of the hard to reach places under the car Greg started the installation process. The muffler pipes went around the axles first and then were inserted in the open ends of the "H" pipe. Next the "H" pipe was reinstalled at the flanges and the middle support points. Finally the mufflers were hung on the rear supports and then forced into the tail pipes. Everything was torqued to 45 ft-lbs and a test cruise was taken. Afterwards the car was inspected and everything was re-torqued.
It's still quiet by Greg's standards but it now sounds more like a Vette should!
