A Museum & BWW 11/04
On another GREAT November day Greg & Donna hosted a Hookey Player DnD to an Indianapolis area private automotive museum and then took the group over to Buffalo Wild Wings near Glendale Mall for a great lunch. A large group arrived at their house ready to leave at the appointed time of 11 with nearly 20 Corvettes and 1 metal SUV in the group. This even included a Hoosier Corvette Club couple who has also invited Corvette Indy to join a Hoosier drive going to Crawfordsville on November 19. Greg's route included cruising by some of the beautiful homes in the Williams Creek area of Indianapolis and then in to a more industrial area. The museum was great with a number of Corvettes and Camaros plus old Packards and other cars on display. The owner does not allow pictures of the cars or other items, as he is a very low key person and not interested in being open to the public. He did have some stories about the cars and said that they are all driven on a regular basis, or he would not keep it. After an hour or so of checking things out the group saddled up and headed over to the BWW for lunch in the only location near by that could handle the large group. The food was good and soon everyone was heading home to beat the late afternoon Indianapolis traffic. At different times during the day several couples in the group took the opportunity to have they and their Corvette's pictures taken together for the upcoming Christmas party surprise.
