Birthday Drive By for Twins 06/13

Jeff Cox through Jimmie put the call out for the birthday drive by in Lawrence. The original request follows.
Lawrence: Birthday Drive-by A Birthday Drive-by request for twins who have been really sick with Covid19. The Father and twin daughters have been sick for six weeks plus. It was so bad that the Lawrence Police and Fire Department are doing a Drive-by and they asked Jeff Cox if he could muster up a couple Corvettes. The twins are turning SIX! The parade will be in Lawrence at 2pm on June 13.The staging location for the birthday drive by is The Veterans Memorial Park In Oaklandon. The address is 12150 E. 62nd Street. Everyone should be there no later than 1:45 and we will leave by 2:00 sharp. The Lawrence Police Department along with the Lawrence Fire Department will be escorting us. I notified some of my Harley friends and they will be riding behind Corvette Indy. The mother is so excited. Well Corvette Indy and Jeff's motorcycle club friends responded with nearly 30 each of Corvettes and motorcycles along with two Lawrence police cars with all being led by a fire truck. The pass through the neighborhood was well attended not only by the family but virtually every house along the route. As we all drove by there was nothing but big grins from the two birthday girls who only thought that they were getting cupcakes for their special day. By the way the mother did keep it a complete secret from the girls until just before the fire truck went by with sirens blaring! |

We appreciate each and everyone that took time out to make us feel the family love in INDY, and for those that could not be there physically but were there in spirit. We felt all the love.
