Greg's Banner Upgrade
As you may know I have had "CORVETTE INDY" static cling window banners made for my Vettes. Originally I planned to use them in parades and car shows but I found they stayed on really well so I have just left them in place. The only issue was that I already had "CORVETTE" letters on the windshield so the second banner underneath seemed redundant. I decided to redo this and asked Next Day Signs to make me a "CORVETTE INDY" graphic with adhesive backed vinyl letters. I designed the graphic to fit the C5 windshield curvature but I think it is close enough that it can be used on C6s too. I'll test this soon as I will ask them to make me one in silver for my 2010 convertible. I'm happy with the result and proud to display the CORVETTE INDY banner as we are happy to be a part of this great group of people! The pictures below show the before with the dual signs and Donna's car with both signs removed and the new CORVETTE INDY sign installed.
If anyone wants to do this it is pretty easy to do at home and Next Day Signs can make you the banner for just under $50. If anyone wants a cling banner, I have a new, unused red one for $30 and used banners in red, silver and gold that I will part with for $15 each.

Greg had made and installed "CORVETTE INDY" cling on windshield banners on his Corvettes to show his club pride. These banners are great for car shows and parades and they stick on remarkably well so he just left them on full time. They even stayed put through some 100mph plus sprints down the IMS straightaways! Since the cars already had "CORVETTE" windshield banners it did seem a little redundant so Greg had larger "CORVETTE INDY" stick on letters made and replaced both banners with the new one. He designed it for the C5 but also applied in on a C4 and a C6 with no problem. You can see the results on the before and after pictures (the last 5 added 12/9).
Next Day Signs made the banners and they can be applied at home. They are available in a variety of colors and cost about $45 for most of the standard vinyl. The cling on versions cost about $30.
