Stone Creek 03/14/14

With nearly a week's notice Shelley & Jim called for a dinner get together on the evening of Pi day (3.14) at the Stone Creek restaurant. A good group of 29 members made their way up Michigan Avenue to the evenings location including hosts Jim & Shelley N, Greg & Donna B, Jim & Judi A, Bill & Cheryl R, Jim & Bonnie S, Doug & Arminta I, Bob & Sherry W, Al & Terri F, Dick & Bonnie P, Rich & Machelle P, Pat & Carolyn H, Bill & Erika L, Wylie & Rita E, Greg T,  Terry S, and Jim K without Pam, who had to work. With the evening's weather being nice four couples even got their Corvettes out to enjoy the event. Wylie & Rita even decided to get a few extra miles on their new C7 by arriving at the wrong restaurant, Granite City, and finding none of the group there. They then confirmed the evenings location before heading to the correct destination. This was even after Wylie had correctly posted the event location on the clubs Facebook page! There was also a non member 40th Anniversary convertible in the lot, which Greg put a club card on inviting them to check us out The meals were great and the company even better with everyone having a good time. The evening ending with many planning to meet at the following day's Drive N Dunk for breakfast and more Corvette Indy fun.
