2nd Annual Corvette Day at West Clay 07/07
Corvette Indy was again invited for a fun afternoon along the tree lined streets in the middle of the Village of West Clay. At the beginning of the week there were only about seven Corvettes signed up, but with the morning dawning a bit cloudy and no rain in the forecast the number attending soon swelled to over 30. Corvettes of all colors and models got parked on both street sides and even around the corner as the group overflowed the designated area. Included in the group were a few potential new members that had seen the flyer and joined in. As with the first year the local restaurants offered a discount that was used by most members there. During the afternoon local residents strolled by with all ages enjoying the colorful display. A number of them even stopped and asked members a number of questions about the different models and years, more so than last year. The members in attendance really enjoyed the afternoon and appreciate the Village of West Clay making a $200 donation to Corvette Indy's Charity Fund too. Also thanks to John Vess an his contact Natalie Mueller for coordinating the afternoon's event.
