2016 Indiana Region Banquet 04/16

This year's banquet was hosted by the Anderson Corvette Association at the Madison County Shrine Club in Anderson. Corvette Indy had six members represent the club for the yearly awards event, they were Butch & Tammy DeWitt, Frank & Cathy Coolidge, and Bill & Erika Lapham. The group met at the BP at Exit 210 and enjoyed the warm and sunny drive to the south side of Anderson. Once there they met up with other members of the region who also were enjoying the non racing time together. The food was great and followed by the awards given out by the region's competition director. This year club members earned several trophies and the coveted 200 point jackets for participation in the region's NCCC sanctioned events and earning points by competing or working those events. Cathy earned a 1st Place for Ladies Low Speed Group II, while Butch & Tammy earned 1st Place in Fun Rallies and 5th Place in the Poker Rally category. They along with Bill and Mike Gilbert also earned jackets which were a light weight dark blue wind breaker design this year. During the door prize drawing Erika won one of the table center pieces and Bill won a Corvette sweat shirt. The evening ended around 8, for a still sunny and warm drive home.
