Cruisin' With the Cops Car Show 9/27

On Saturday Sept 27 2014, Jeff B & Bill R met at the McDonalds on 71st & 465 and then headed to the Cruisin' with the Cops car show. You couldn't have asked for a better day to spend at a car show. We had the perfect spot with Bill's tent blocking the sun. We did very little detailing since we cleaned the cars the day before.  Alan C arrived and parked a row of cars behind us. We walked around and took pictures and then picked the cars we liked since it was participant judging for the Top 20 and then cops picked depending on which category you registered under. Jeff B signed up for Best Engine and found out a '12 Carbon Flash Black Grand Sport had it's entire engine bay & hood done in military theme, it was done by Steve Ray who is the owner of Airbrush Incorporated down in Kentucky.The GS won Best Engine and the only Vette to win. Greg B's favorite car won the Club Participation award with approximately 20 MUSTNAG's. It was good to hear that no Scion's or Volvo's won but there quite a bit of MUSTNAG's that won along with several Camaro's, Chevelles and some Hot Rods. Despite no one in the group winning we all had a good time. Thanks to Jeff for the report and both Bill & Jeff for pictures of the event.
