Hunt for Best Tenderloin Day III 5/3
OPERA HOUSE PUB 5-3-18
At 11:30 it was still raining in Carmel and at the city park I decided to use the park as a sign in check point, and send them up the road to the River Road Park where that lot was paved instead of gravel. Due to the weather conditions, we elected to use our metal cars instead of our Corvettes, because we want them to look good at the Vettes for Vets Show this weekend. After the sign in, drivers meeting, we left Carmel, destination Elwood. We arrived at 1:15 PM parked and entered the pub, greeted by our wait staff and the opera house guide, Keith Israel. Once we all ordered lunch, in our private room, Keith, the opera house guide, gave us the tour of the building and the historical significance of the area. After our tour, we sat down for lunch and remarked that this stop on the hunt was well worth being here, and the ones that didn’t come missed out on the best of the hunt.
