Cars for the Cure
On Sunday March 30 Corvette Indy had Barry R and Bob & Barb Y attend the prestigious car show that is put on in behalf of the Indiana Chapter of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. All of the money collected went to Indiana Leukemia & Lymphoma Society to their patient services programs. friends and family. The show had dozens of privately entered cars and are some of the best in central Indiana. The marques represented were Aston Martin, Austin Healey, Callaway, Delahaye, De Tomaso, Ferrari, Ford GT, Jaguar, Lamborghini, Lotus, MG, Noble, Norton (motorcycle), Packard, Porsche, Shelby, and Viper. Unfortunately, as the pictures show, there was only one lone Corvette represented possibly that needs to be rectified in future years. While there Barb was able to use the previously purchased signature spot on the Sarah Fisher Hartman Racing team car by putting her 101 year old father's name on it in block letters. Her father is very excited about the signature spot, so much so that he wants to attend this years practice to see it in person!
It looks like a great show for a worthy charity that more of the club members should attend in future years.
