Woodstock IL 09/15
Bill and Erika extended the Door County trip an extra night by taking the long way back through the mid section of Wisconsin down to Woodstock IL. Woodstock is the town where Ground Hog Day was filmed, now 25 years ago. On the way they stopped in Oconomowoc to visit with Bill's former boss, as he had not seen him for nearly 10 years. Once they arrived in Woodstock they walked around the town square and saw many of the pictures shooting locations. They also checked out a few of the shops and had a late lunch in the Public House of Woodstock, which is in the old court house. A really beautiful place to eat. After checking things out they headed to Algonquin for the night passing through Crystal Lake where Jim & Shelly's son had lived before moving to NC. After a good nights rest (it was a Holiday Inn Express after all) they headed back home to Indiana making good use of their I-Pass.
