Indiana Region Awards Banquet
On Saturday February 7 eight Corvette Indy members attended the Annual Region Banquet held this year at the National Military History Center and Horse Power Museum just south of Auburn, IN. Those attending from the club were Butch & Tammy D, John & Marg H, Frank & Cathy C, and Bill & Erika L, with most of that group meeting at exit 210 to caravan up to Auburn. This even had Cathy and Frank getting their Corvette out for the trip. Also, prior to the banquet John & Marg hosted a get together at their motel to kick the evening off. After the dinner the awards for the 2014 competition season were given out. Along with the plaques and jackets earned by the competitors and workers Butch was awarded the 2014 Bill Callahan / Dick Satkamp Award which is the most prestigious award of the evening. This award totally surprised and humbled Butch who certainly deserved it.
