2018 Tuesday Steak Night
The Ale Emporium continues as a weekly get together for a number of members as they take advantage of the dinner special. Started several years ago by host Bill Reynolds, he has continued the event to the delight of all. This weekly event takes advantage of the Ale Emporium's $6.95 bacon wrapped fillet with baked potato, soup, & salad Tuesday night special. Ale Emporium address is 8617 Allisonville Rd, Indianapolis, IN, 46250, just East of Allisonville and North of 86th Street. Club members usually try to get there between 4:45 & 5:15 to get seating and the special, as both are limited. Corvette parking is somewhat limited close to the restaurant so 'metal' cars are usually driven to this event. You can be assured that some Corvette Indy members will be there as long as the steak dinner special is available.

A nice Christmas celebration with our Corvette family and friends. Santa Bill brought petit fours for everyone to enjoy after dinner. Marian and Gary brought cupcakes to celebrate Sherry’s birthday. It was a great time seeing everyone. Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and happy new year. See everyone back at the Ale on Tuesday, January 8.

Had a nice crowd tonight good seeing our family and friends. Hope everything is OK with William and Sharon they were on their way and got a flat tire so they ended up going to see Levi to get a new tire. Hope all went well with that. Great crowd showed up tonight to help celebrate my birthday. Sherry and John Rash brought cupcakes to pass out to everybody after dinner. They also sang to me. Also if you ever come to steak night and seeing a silver 99 Corvette in the parking lot wondering who it belonged to, we found out it belongs to Zack the bartender. Had a nice crowd this evening. Enjoyed everyone’s company and conversation. We had a longer time to converse due to the slow service. I spoke with management and they apologized for the service and for everyone that was here this week they are going to provide free appetizers for our group next week. They said they do really appreciate our business and they were sorry that we had this hiccup tonight. |

With the break in the temperatures they were joined by other customers too, so they didn't need to stay until 'last call' as they had done last week :) |

A very small group ventured out on a bitterly cold first Tuesday of the year. Bill Reynolds had said he would not be there as he was on vacation, so new President Ray Chester headed up the small group of John & Marg Herder and Bud & Eileen Mitcheltree made up the evenings group. Ray's comments were: "With Bill on Vacation we partied till last call" They must have closed early as the email time stamp was 6:40 PM. |
