July 4th Carmel Parade
This years Carmel Parade had 22 Corvettes cover the parade route following the Corvette Indy Banner carried by Greg our host for the event. With temperatures that were well in to the 90's by parade time it was hard on all of the parade entrants and vehicles. Prior to the start of the parade we gathered at the closed Hardee's on 116th street for initial clean up and then moved over to the shopping center where we were staged.
The parade went off without any issues with lots of people watching along the route.
Once we had covered the route 15 Corvettes went down Keystone Avenue to 96th street where we gathered for lunch at Scotty's Brewhouse.
There we were greeted with well needed glasses of ice water already on the tables and the air conditioning was appreciated too.
