Story Town Visit
On Friday October 25 Al & Terri F along with Wylie and Rita E had planned a trip to Nashville and the Story Inn for a day's drive. Greg was thinking about going to Brown County on Friday too, and was invited along. So the three headed to Nashville in the morning on this late planned drive. Bill & Erika were also going to go with Greg, but decided to head to Edinburgh Outlets to do their shopping and then meet the other three couples at the Story Inn. The three couples hit Nashville and then headed to Story, where Bill was able to document their arrival! The Story Inn is very quaint and offers a very good lunch menu. Once finished the group headed in the general direction of home, but with Greg leading on some of his favorite back roads. Unfortunately a few school buses impeded their vigorous driving all still had a good time seeing the rolling countryside. During the trip North, they wandered across 144 to Mann Road, then back on to 465 which was backed up, so they got off at Harding and then took a Greg led route through some of the finer city streets that Indianapolis has to offer. It was a good thing that it was still daylight, but cold enough to keep most people inside. Winding our way around downtown we finally got to Kessler and then to Michigan Road where we said our farewells and headed to our houses. A great day for driving but a little early for the Brown County fall colors.
