​Max & Erma's DnD 7/19

During the July 17 meeting Greg and Donna announce that they were planning a Retirees N Hookey Player Drive N Dine to Max & Erma's on Thursday afternoon. By the end of the evening Greg had just a few Corvettes signed up. On Thursday though the group swelled to 10 Corvettes and 15 members leaving from their house after drinks and cookies had been served. Those able to meet at the starting spot were hosts Greg & Donna Bowron, Mike & Linda Tann, Jim & Judi Alvis, Bill & Erika Lapham, Mark & Jan Rothrock, David & Kim Pritchett, Linda White, John Vess, and Phil Vickery. Those that took the drive took a quick trip up through the few not closed streets of Carmel over to Eagle Creek Ave to IN 32 and then back down Spring Mill and over to the restaurant. When the group got to Max & Erma's they were met by Ray Chester with his Corvette, Keith Riley and his metal car, and Tom & Nancy Piercy unfortunately not in their "its built but not shipped' new Corvette. Tom even sent a picture of the Corvettes all lined up to Penske and asked them "what was missing" and they replied a '19 Blue Grand Sport! Hopefully it will show up soon for their driving pleasure. Lunch was great, with most everyone taking advantage of the really good $5 burger and endless fries. Once done a part of the group headed off to participate in the mini car show that Clearwater Commons was putting on that also had a cookout for those that were still hungry from the DnD. Another great club event on a simply beautiful July day with everyone looking forward to the next short announcement DnD.
