2013 Cool Creek Car Show
On Saturday August 17 the Collision Cure Vintage Vehicle Expo at Cool Creek Park was held with one of our members displaying his pristine C4, and a few more dropped by to view the vintage cars. Wylie E was our lone entrant with Rich & Michelle P and Lynn P checked of the show. Wylie's report follows:
Cool Creek Vintage Vehicle Expo - Aug. 17. Cars gathered at Collision Cure in Westfield near the Kroger on 32. It was a beautiful morning and I would guess there were more than 80 cars and pick up trucks. A free pancake and sausage breakfast was served from 9 till 11:30. At Noon we all paraded about 5 miles over to Cool Creek park. The cars did tend to be older and the vintage pick-ups were amazing. There were a handful of corvettes, about 4 C4's including mine and 3 C3's and I think 1 Cs and 1 C1. But with all these very unique and very old cars, a 1975 Corvette won both Best Corvette and People's choice ! It was a beautiful bright Orange! I was joined by my Brother-in-law Steve who was visiting for the weekend and is a lifetime car nut. He was in heaven. Later in the afternoon Rita came as did one of my daughters and 2 of my Grand Daughters. Again, thanks Wylie for sharing your day at the show.
