Bridgewater Parade & DnD 7/3
This was the second year of the Bridgewater Country Club Parade and Wylie was again asked to round up Corvettes for it. On a very hot afternoon more than a dozen Corvettes were ready to parade and then head to the restaurant afterward. Again Wylie had everyone meet at the Guerin High School on Gray road, and once assembled, the group headed the short distance over to the entrance and then to their assigned parade spots. As usual there was the obligatory down time of all parades, with everyone looking for a bit of shade while waiting. The organizers got into a bit of hustle mode when the announcement that Carmel Fest had suspended operations due to storms in the area was made. The parade did not see a drop of rain though, and progressed very slowly to the completion this year. Once over we again headed to Wylie's house to regroup as everyone had been scattered through out the parade. Then we headed to the Italian House on Park for another great meal and get together. This may become an annual event and as Wylie says "you have to do the parade to then enjoy the meal afterwards". It was a lot of fun and really enjoyed by the many residents of the Bridgewater community.
