Trip to Parky's #2

On a sunny Wednesday, 8/15, a small group consisting of Bill, Dick, & Robert headed northwest out of Carmel for the long route to Parky's BBQ in Lebanon. This was Dick's first Dine N Drive since Bonnie started having major knee problems and finally a replacement. She is doing well, but not allowed to try to get into the C4, which is hard enough for anyone with two good knees, let alone someone that is healing from surgery a few weeks ago. The route also let Robert run some gas with Techron added through his coupe to get it cleaned out before competing at Grissom on the weekend. The trip included some great county roads and a good lunch and discussions at the restaurant. On the way back the group headed north to SR47 and then down Michigan (421) to SR32, as SR32 was detoured east of Lebanon. An easy trip back with the three drivers heading off to their respective homes.
