Westport Car Show

Greg & Donna B met Rich & Suzanne B dark and early on Saturday morning, September 9, and followed them to the Shelbyville Cracker Barrel where they met Randy & Sherry S and Chris & Paula W for breakfast. From there Randy led the group to Westport for a car show. There they met several members and friends from the Columbus Corvette Club. The cars lined the street areas and many including ours were under shade trees which helped make a warm day pleasant as opposed to those that parked on asphalt parking lots which made the warm day blazing hot! Music was provided and the food we purchased was good. After the usual detailing, looking at the cars entered and just plain having fun we gathered for the trophy presentation and at this car show there were several nice Corvettes almost all of which were awarded with trophies so it was a good day for the Vettes! There were over 200 cars that registered and 3 motorcycles so many left without a trophy but those that won some very nice trophies were:

After the show the Corvette Indy group took the back roads to cruise home with a stop for ice cream of course! We also met some nice Corvette owners from the Indianapolis and Greenfield areas which may drop in as a guest at a future club meeting.
