Mystery Trip to Brown County 08/30

John and Barb Burkhardt, with a couple of weeks notice to members, held a Retirees and Hookey Player Drive N Dine to a "Mystery Location in Brown County" on an extremely hot afternoon. With the advance notice there were 14 Corvettes and 26 members that followed along on the route. Ten of the Corvettes left from the Burkhardt's house and the other four joined in as the group passed the IN 37 and Southport road. The destination was the Farmhouse Cafe which is near Beanblossom and not only a cafe but a very large nursery. The ambiance was very rustic, with a definite rural Indiana feel. The luncheon was very good with a number of members sampling the deserts too. After lunch some members headed to the Nashville Winery while others took a leisurely drive back to the Indianapolis area.
