Abuelos Restaurant

On June 4th the Retirees and Hookey Players met at Dick & Bonnie's house for a very short drive to Abuelo's Restaurant, a gas saving distance of 2 miles, There was a good group for the day after a meeting, with hosts Dick & Bonnie P, Jim & Shelley N, Bill & Erika L, Jim S, Greg T, Greg B, all in Corvettes with Donna B meeting us at our destination in her Solstice. We decided that this 5 minute & 58 second trip somewhat balanced out last week's trip to the Beef House of over 2 hours each way. Even though the trip was short, with everyone forgetting their radios except for Jim N, we had no problems and a lot of fun getting there and even more fun with the many conversations that took place over lunch. We also discussed neighbor issues that had been had by the different members. The conversations at the other end of the table did center more around cars, and of course the new C7, which Jim S had more information on after his trip to Belle Isle the previous weekend. The group broke up around 4:30 and headed back home to get ready for the next drive and the upcoming Main Event Weekend which most of the group will be attending
