Special Olympics Plane Pull Car Show
We had a few from the club head over to the airport for the Plane Pull Car Show sponsored by our club's charity Special Olympics Indiana. Tammy DeWitt sent in pictures and the following report.
Barry Rector, my son Tad & I, participated in the Special Olympics Plane Pull car show, Barry won Indianapolis Airport Authorities pick of show and Tad's Plainfield Correctional Facility E-Squad team, also won the Plane Pull for their division with a 5.8 second time.
The rain held off as long as possible then it stopped just long enough to finish car show. But it didn't stop any of the fun, the car show had 11 autos and 1 motorcycle, plane pull had 70 teams they had lots of fun even in the pouring rain! This made for a great event to help the Special Olympics Indiana charity.
