Trip to Half Moon Brewery

On Saturday, June 22, Doug and Arminta held a Drive N Dine to the Half Moon Restaurant and Brewery in Kokomo. We met at the parking lot of the Westfield Marketplace on the southeast corner of the intersection of SR32 and Carey Road. With cloudy skies and potential rain 9 Corvette's showed up, with no one taking the metal car option for the day's drive. Those on the trip were Doug & Arminta I (hosts), Greg & Donna B, Charlie & Tammy B, Dean & Zoe D, Sarah Lee, Bill & Erika L, Greg T, Bob & Barbara Y, along with guests Wally & Mary Jane B. With everyone there we pulled out at the stated 2:45 time, only to hear Greg T calling out for a McDonald's stop, which he took! The rest of the group pulled in to a CVS parking lot to await our missing car. Once underway again we headed North on Little Chicago Road, then over to Cicero to SR19 and headed North again with a few wiggles along the way to SR26. Unfortunately we did run in to rain on the way, which fortunately Donna B sensed and called for a top up stop for the 3 convertibles on the trip. The storm was heavy for a few minutes, and made it wet for the rest of the trip to the restaurant. Once there we were taken to the banquet room for the 16 of us to have for our private use until it became nearer the dinner hour. Everyone had a great time and good food before we started our trek home on US 31.
