Princess Theater Restoration Car Show 08/11/18

Although the weather report predicted rain chances for the late afternoon, it turned out to be a pretty day for a car show, although hot and very humid! Tim McCord did a great job coordinating this very worthwhile event in Rushville, IN! The people were very friendly, some tasty vittles were served, and it was fun to see some unusual automobiles.  Out of the four competitors from Corvette Indy Gary & Marion Cole, Jeff Houser and Ann Harlan, Charlie Sherman, and late arrivals Jimmie & Donna Driscoll, and show promoter Tim McCord (Tim didn't compete, as he helped to judge), three of the Corvettes received a Top 15 trophy. Since this was not an all-Corvette show, there was some stiff competition from several classics! Better yet, the rain held off until the last trophy was awarded and we all hustled home via Cracker Barrel in Shelbyville. This made a fitting stop for those of us who love a nice Drive n Dine, after competing in a car show!  Thanks to Marian for the pictures and write up of a nice local show.
