Brownsburg 9/11 Memorial Car Show

Saturday September 13, an extremely cold morning, CI members Jeff B & Charity N met at Chris W's
house and headed over to the Brownsburg 9/11 memorial car show in Williams Park.
After we got parked and the detailing out of the way Al & Terri F arrived.
The weather was still on the cold side with the sun playing hide & go seek.
All the proceeds went to the memorial they plan on building at the park. One of
the fire fighters had traveled to NY and was given a piece of one of the Trade
Towers and it will be put on display. There were several raffles along with a
silent auction. They had 2 rather large horses that are used in parades and some
bouncy houses for the kids. At 3 p.m. the awards were announced with Jeff B
winning a Top 20 trophy. Corvette Indy needed one more member for the club to
win the Club Participation award which went to the Jeep Club. All had a great
day despite the temperature not being warm.
