Hunt for Best Tenderloin Day XI 09/13/18
September 13, 2018, the eleventh day for the Hunt. Well it started to a different café, due to another “Corvette Club”, changed our lunch to a Dinner. They said that a “lady president of the club” told them dinner, not knowing we were the lunch group. The Dawgleg manager said that WTH-I TV Terre Haute, had the best in Vigo County. So we switched to the Delish Café East, which was on U. S. 40.
So, at 11:45 we to a short ride down I-465 to U. S. 40 and west to the Café. We had Ray, Dee and Jim, Jeff, Alan, Pat and his guest Bonnie, Ed & Carolyn, Bob & Linda, Wendell & Sheri, John, Keith and his guest, Mary. Tammy had planed to come, but a last minute family matter came up, so she had to cancel today.
The once there, drinks were ordered, and orders placed for the breaded tenderloin fries, soup house salad, daily specials: Meatloaf, chicken fingers, and conversations abound at all the tables. Meals served, Today’s Tenderloins were rated from 10 to 8, and the daily specials ran between 4 and 8.
Next stop and the last “hunt” will be on the 27th.
Thanks to Keith for the write-up and pictures.
