Strawberry Festival Corvette Show
Crawfordsville held their 17th Annual Corvette Show on Saturday June 10. Corvette Indy, as in past years, had a good representation of members head west this year from the Westfield Noble Roman's parking lot. With Wylie in the lead the group headed across IN 32 picking up more member along the way for a total of nearly 20 in the early arriving club caravan. Then later a couple of other members arrived to make a great group enjoying the shady parking on the beautiful spring day. Dropping by were Susie Hale & Terry Sitzer who were camping in the area, Rick & Jan Stout who also live in Crawfordsville, and Jimmie & Donna Driscoll who drove in from their overnight stay in Nashville. Jimmie was also very happy as he got to see a number of tractors too!
The club did well when it came to award presentation time with a number of winners:
Gary & Marian Cole - Participants Choice Best in Show
Bill & Erika Lapham – Dan Voliva Memorial Award
(Dan was the father of Scott Voliva who organizes the show)
John & Ruth Vess – Tom Schloot Memorial Award
(Tom was a huge Indy 500 fan and owned a '78 Pace Car)

Also at the show were Butch & Tammy DeWitt (who got up early to join the caravan after going to the Nashville Oldies Show on Friday night), Jim & Pam Kellam, John Rash & Sherry Sawyer, Bill Reynolds, Fred Difiore, Gary & Janet McIntyre, Steve Head & Mary McConnell, Jack Houtman along with Mark Hilligoss, and Mike & Linda Tann who were in the caravan and enjoyed the day at the festival.
