Return to Rick's

On Wednesday, August 26th, Greg & Donna hosted a Drive N Dine to Rick's to celebrate the beautiful weather that hung around all week! A group of 6 Corvettes led by Greg & Donna in their Jetstream blue convertible and included Jack H, Greg T, Wylie & Rita E, Mike & Linda T, and John & Marg H, left shortly after 1:30pm and wound their way around some of the Carmel traffic circles before making an extended inspection of the various unique home styles in the community of West Clay. After that they headed over for a country tour of the Eagle Creek area and a quick spin through some of the twisted roads through the corn fields. After an enjoyable almost non stop cruise made possible by the lack of afternoon traffic before school let out, the group pulled into Rick's for much needed nourishment. There they were met by some famished folks by the names of John & Diana A, Mike & Shirley B, and Jim & Shelley N. Their "usual" table was waiting for the not so weary travelers on the outdoor water view deck and  as always the service was good, the food was fantastic and the comradeship and friendship was as enjoyable as ever! Lunch conversations covered all the topics of the week and after an enjoyable meal a satisfied, well fed and happy group headed their separate ways and already were beginning to look forward to the next opportunity to get to get together with their club friends for some more Corvette fun!
