​Friday at Gold Autocross 6/23

sFriday morning dawned WET and the rain kept on coming. This did not stop the workers that had volunteered for the early shift from showing up. Those that were there either stayed in the fairly dry trailer or under the tent which soon had a couple of sides added, while another few headed out to check the vendors and their wares. Finally around 11:00 with no breaks showing on the radar, Butch and Bill headed off to contact either Kathy or Guy to get their input on staying around or not. They soon found out that the drives around the speedway had been cancelled and then talked to Kathy who said to pack up the autocross too. With that info the guys headed back and with the other workers got the tent lowered and the trailer packed up for the evening in the still driving rain. With the Saturday forecast being very dry and sunny look for a big day of runs at the Gold Autocross.
