Zionsville American Legion "Andy's Ride" Show 07/11
Andy's Ride, is an annual charity fund raiser to help sponsor young students for vocational training courses. It was sponsored by the Zionsville American Legion Post #79, on the NW side of town. It was open to all vehicles including motorcycles. This years $25 entry fee provided all donors with a beautiful buffet lunch that included too many items to count, but included pulled pork sandwiches, hot dogs, seasoned baked beans, cole slaw, chips, watermelon, chocolate chip cookies, muffins, and much much more. we enjoyed live entertainment, and the weather cooperated perfectly for the show. we had 2 corvettes, Ross G.'s '69 and a non-member Jan S. with his black 87 convertible. Though neither of the vettes took any awards, the show was deemed a success by the participants and sponsors, and we look forward to next year. Perhaps we can get more CI members participating next year, so the Indy Mustang Club doesn't control all the conversations!! Thanks to Ross for the report & pictures.
