Granite City 11/22

With a cold and rainy day forecast hosts Jim & Shelley called for a dine only at the Granite City restaurant on 96th street. It was a good group of Corvette Indy Retirees and Hookey Players. Those able to make it out were hosts Jim & Shelley N, Greg & Donna B, Dean & Zoe D, Wylie & Rita E, Susie H and Terry S, Jim & Judy A,  Doug & Arminta I, Jim S, Bob Y, and Rich P for a mixture of retirees and true hookey players. As is our new custom, the ladies took over one of the table and the gents the other. Part of the men's conversation centered on experiences with defective autos.  As expected, the experiences ranged from "I couldn't be happier" to "I was really treated poorly."  The highlight of the meal was the presentation of two giant chocolate chip cookies with ice cream in honor of Jim A.'s ??th anniversary of his 40th birthday. The cookies were so big there was some left after we all got our share.
