Spina Bifida Christmas Party

_ On December 3 John and Diana Albright attended the Christmas party for the spina bifida families at St. Andrew Presbyterian Church at 38th Street and Kessler Blvd.  It is an annual event and was highly attended this year.  We almost did not have enough floor room for Santa and the children.  The festivities open at 11 a.m., lunch at 11:30 and Santa arrived about 12:30 this year, a little later this season.  He had so many presents for the children that it took a few extra minutes to get organized.  His elves were in evidence, though. There is always a craft table for the children to gather at and make ornaments.  John and Diana always enjoy meeting families that they have known for many years, some John has known since they were infants and are now adults, and new families.  Attendees come from all over the state of Indiana and Illinois too.
