Corvette Indy Christmas Party 12/06/14
Afternoon Preparation
This year's Christmas party with an 120 members signed up needed a larger venue than last year's club house to handle the group. The American Legion in Carmel was suggested by one of the club members and it turned out to be a good location able to handle up to 200 if needed. Getting ready for the evening's event a small group of Greg, Donna, Arminta, Erika & Bill, arrived and set up tables and added colorful table cloths and poinsettias to each one.

Evenings Party
The Carmel American Legion started to fill up with the 116 attending club members a little after 6 PM. As members signed in they were directed to have their pictures taken so that an updated members page can be created to help everyone recognize each other as the club continues to grow. The buffet started at 7, with everyone getting more than their fill of food and the plentiful deserts including two cakes brought in by Greg & Donna. After dinner door prizes were given out including A 25th Anniversary C7 model, cook books, 25th Anniversary Patches and Key Chains and the poinsettias that decorated the tables. Greg also recognized a number of the members that had run events during the year by giving them plaques. The evening wound down after the presentations with everyone wishing each other a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year as they left.
