​Longer Drive to Max & Erma's 06/09

In February a dine had been held at Max & Erma's to take advantage of their $5 cheeseburger deal, with no drive to it or Corvettes for that matter showing up on the winter day. When looking for a location to head to at Monday's meeting Greg was reminded about the burger deal and a Hookey Player DnD was set up for Thursday. The sunny afternoon started with Donna supplying cookies and drinks on their new deck before the group headed out. This time the Corvette side was handily taken care of with 11 making the drive from Greg & Donna's via a most indirect route. This was NOT a Dick Pacetti record setting low of 2 miles from start to finish (see Abuleos) but a nearly 22 mile trip which included the checking out of Carmel's roundabouts, Village of West Clay, and Eagle Creek Avenue for a nice 45 minute drive. Fortunately, after last week, no one needed gas or at least admitted to it while on the trip. In the 11 Corvettes were 18 members and 1 guest for a couple of tables full for the afternoon's meal. Everyone took advantage of the burger deal and fully enjoyed the typical chatter before, during, and after for another successful DnD.
