​Penske Cookout III 10/22

With winter approaching in the near future the Corvette Indy Club did possibly their last cookout for this year at Penske's Showroom. As in the past the cookout is a thank you to Penske for all of the support that they give the club through out the year. It was a cool morning but sunny as the grill was setup on the West side of the dealership for the CI crew in attendance to get things going. With Penske supplying the food and drinks our two cooks soon, with help of several assembling the burgers and dogs. had things cooking away and ready for the hungry Penske employees and customers a little after 11. When Kenny, the C7 PDI tech, stopped by for his burger he said that he was working on a Black Z06 and Black Grand Sport that had just come in. A few of the members headed over to see the latest arrivals. While there they met a couple that was going to pick up their new Watkins Grey Grand Sport that afternoon, so they were invited to join the club as they were not already members. As always the assembled group checked out the new and used Corvettes on the lot and gave potential customers (listening Ross?) lots of advice on what should be purchased. The group got done and packed up around 1:30 as there was an ample amount of burgers and dogs cooked for any late arriving customers.
