Rita's 1st  Annual Spooktacular Evening

Rita enjoys the Halloween holiday so much that she and Wylie decided to have a Dine then Drive to celebrate it. The Dine part started at Max & Erma's where over 20 members met to have dinner and some show off their costumes for the evening. Those attending dinner were hosts Rita & Wylie E, Jim & Shelly N, Bill & Erika L, Greg & Donna B, Jim & Judi A, Jim & Pam K, Mel & Norma M, Mike & Linda T, Dean & Zoe D, John & Marg H, Sarah Lee, Rich P, and Bob Y (with Barb joining us after dinner). Due to the weather no Corvettes ventured out in the evening and therefore Wylie's after dinner drive was made into a more direct route to their house. Once there everyone was greeted by ghosts, goblins and a cemetery on the lawn, with fog rising, adding to the real fog that evening. Inside Rita and Wylie. along with one of their daughters and two granddaughters, greeted everyone and served drinks and deserts. In addition to having a good time being together, everyone enjoyed the many Halloween decorations including the attacking spiders. Wylie also showed off his winter / pre-Corvette project of building a model train layout in the basement. The project has been slowed down considerably now that Wylie is working on his Corvettes and attending many club functions. Everyone had a great time and will be looking forward to the promised 2nd Annual and beyond Spooktacular Evening!
