Westfield Union Bible College Car Show

On Saturday 10/5 Jeff attended a car show on a wet day, here is his accounting of the day! CI member Jeff B per-registered for a car show from one of the flyers while at the "fixed" GTO car show. According to the flyer there was 12 categories for trophies. After checking the weather forecast after the rain this morning it said "dry conditions" for the next 6 hours so I took a chance and attended. The car show was at the Westfield Union Bible College and the smell of various food was somewhat distracting from the detailing. They were giving horseback rides for the kids and also had the inflatable jump rooms which I thought about making my way over too since I still feel like a kid at heart. After a few sprinkles I decided to put up the other canopy that I'm glad I brought and then it started to pour. One of the judges came over and announced that they would be doing awards considerably early due to the rain. In the end I received 2 awards, 1 for Best Corvette and 1 for Best paint and $50 cash. I guess it was well worth being rained on!!!!!!
