Parky's Smokehouse

On Wednesday August 14, with beautiful weather, forecast a Retirees and Hookey Players Drive N Dine was planned with those attending starting at Bill & Erika's, The group consisted of hosts Bill & Erika, Charlie B, Greg T, Robert S (in Judie's Camaro as Land Shark was getting serviced), and Bob & Barb Y. Bob & Barb arrived late as they were not even planning on attending until Barb got home from work early and asked "where is the Drive N Dine today", Bob quickly got on the phone and called to be added to the list. A quick change by the two of them and getting the ZR1 out they were at the starting point in record time. Parky's was suggested as a destination by Robert the day before so that is where the group headed. Once underway Bill led the group up one of the club's favorite roads, Mule Barn. Out of Sheraton the group headed West on SR47 to the Elizaville Road and then South to Lebanon and Parky's Smokehouse. Once there, with the day being so nice, the group decided to eat on the patio. The food was great and the company even better with lunch lasting nearly 2 1/2 hours. As always the group is looking forward to the next time that they can get together and have an afternoon of Corvette driving and food.
