Spring Fling Car Show
The season's car shows kicked off with Hoosier Corvette Club in conjunction with the Indiana Region holding their annual Car Show at Ray Skillman Collector Car Showroom in Greenwood, IN. Corvette Indy had a good showing of members, as the club took this year's participation award!
The members on the North side of Indy met at parking lot just south of 96th and Meridian, then caravaned around 465 to the K-Mart parking lot just before getting to Skillman's, where members from the South side met up with the group. The group of nearly 20 then caravaned to the show site, and were able to all park in a row, near two highly used shade trees. The Indiana Region supplied a free lunch of hot dogs, beans, and chips for NCCC members, which was enjoyed by all of the club members. There were a number of cars at the event as is was a clear but muggy day. Much better weather than the past couple of years shows. It was a good day of renewing friendships with members of other clubs and getting the season kicked off.
