Corvette Indy Rallies 05/03

After a number of years absence a few of the long term Corvette Indy members decided to run rallies again. Those members including Mike L, Greg E, Brent & Betty W, along with Butch & Tammy D started planning the route that was to start after this year's Hoosier Corvette's Spring Fling location. The late afternoon start had 19 Corvettes enter the fun rally and 2 poker rallies. The 30 mile route turned out to be somewhat difficult due the warm day's heavy traffic brought out by the beautiful weather and general congestion of the south side. The entrants had a lot of fun though and ending location of Lincoln Tech had them treated to Pam & Jim's great hot dogs, burgers and needed drinks. A lot of conversations about the event broke out while eating and awaiting the day's results. As darkness fell over the school, Mike promised that next year's would start earlier and be in a more scenic rural area.
