John R. "Critter" Osborne 3rd Annual Memorial Fun and Poker Rallyes
On Sunday September 30 NCCC sanctioned ralleys were held by the Lafayette Corvette Club, with the following event report from Butch.
Tammy & I were the only Corvette Indy members Sunday in Lafayette. The Lafayette Corvette Club put on a great event, everyone that attended had a really good time. The weather was great; the route was scenic & fun! We took a 2nd in the first poker rally & a 1st in the 2nd poker rally. Pictures of all 1st & 2nd place winners are below. The rally questions & route details were great; however we along with most of the group (teasingly) dispute 2 questions: What is on that pole? We found a feather on a pole, not the deer head on a fence post! & ____________ Boat dock? The boat dock is on a lake not in a town! LOL The rally’s ended with a pitch-in provided by their club members & if fried food is your choice this was the event for you, fried fish, onion rings, french fries with beans, slaw and more desserts than we could sample. The day ended with a fun raffle with lots of prizes to pick from.
