​Assistance League Fundraiser  05/03

Carol Valentine invited Corvette Indy club members to display their Corvettes at the Assistance League spring fundraiser, 2019 Spring Celebration!, on Friday, May 3, from 6:00-7:00 PM at Embassy Suites in Noblesville, east of Hamilton Town Center. For this event Corvette Indy generously donated $500 to Assistance League to support Operation School Bell, the program to give clothing to undeserved children in Indianapolis. To repay that favor Carol invited members to show our beautiful Corvettes at their event. They anticipated 150 people attending, and especially the men, who usually are dragged into these fundraisers, appreciated seeing the Corvettes. 30 parking places were held in the parking lot for the cars - a safe, prominent location right outside the entrance to the conference center. Dress was open neck shirts and sports jackets for the guys. The price per person was $100 which included a  meal and the casino night plus auctions and other entertainment. Besides those that showed their Corvettes multiple couples attended the event and enjoyed the dinner and casino evening afterwards.
